Abstract: This report contains a summary of the results of a three month fisheries resources survey in the estuarine Murik Lakes region of the East Sepik Province of Papua New Guinea. A estimated total population of about 1500 people live in the Murik lakes and maintained largely by subsistence harvests of fish and other organisms
